SPIRITUAL CLIFF

How are you doing today? I am so excited to share this revelation with you. What is it? What have I learned. Well every now and then the enemy pushes you to see if you really believe. If you really believe that God will do just what He said He ‘CAN’ and will ‘DO’ …
How easily the devil pushed me to edge of the cliff. I felt like I was going to have to make a decision rather to pay my note for my truck or the pay the utility bill. I did not have money for both even after I had budgeted so very tightly.
My fears began to try to take flight. Thoughts were saying what if God doesn’t do it..What if the truck note can’t be paid. I have struggled financially for months and after barely having enough or so I thought. This was it ..there was no more oil in pot..That’s what I thought. However that’s not what the word said..read the story of the widow and the olive oil..
2 Kings 4
The Widow’s Olive Oil
4 The wife of a man from the company of the prophets cried out to Elisha, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that he revered the Lord. But now his creditor is coming to take my two boys as his slaves.”
2 Elisha replied to her, “How can I help you? Tell me, what do you have in your house?”
“Your servant has nothing there at all,” she said, “except a small jar of olive oil.”
3 Elisha said, “Go around and ask all your neighbors for empty jars. Don’t ask for just a few. 4 Then go inside and shut the door behind you and your sons. Pour oil into all the jars, and as each is filled, put it to one side.”
5 She left him and shut the door behind her and her sons. They brought the jars to her and she kept pouring. 6 When all the jars were full, she said to her son, “Bring me another one.”
But he replied, “There is not a jar left.” Then the oil stopped flowing.
7 She went and told the man of God, and he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debts. You and your sons can live on what is left.”
Doubt has a LOUD voice..it yells HE AIN”T GONNA DO IT>>>I cried and even lowered myself and ask some people who I called friends. But in the end the LORD DID IT>>>BY HIMSELF>>
Folks sometimes it seems like we are dangling from a Spiritual Cliff..Hanging over the edge. Not having enough to accomplish the dream but too much for anyone to offer assistance. Remember that GOD is an ON TIME GOD.
Look at the Children of Israel they were right there at the brink..the edge of the Red Sea. I am sure that they thought we will either drown or be forced back into slavery. They had no idea that God had a wonderful and unique plan. What was it..He allowed Moses to part the Red Sea, and they all walked across on dry land. I can hear Doubt whispering in their ears what if the water rushes in on you…you will all drown. But once the first one made it over..the rest knew they were safe. At least for now.
So I know this post is longer than most but I really wanted you to see that even when it seems to be the very last minute of the very last hour..He will come through for you…
Don’t let circumstances make you think you are at the end of the your rope..
