PROMISES DELAYED DOES NOT MEAN A PROMISE IS DENIED

HIS PROMISES ARE YEA AND AMEN!!!

Now, let’s discuss the promises of God. The Bible is filled with promises from God from health, to wealth, to wisdom to SALVATION! I will list a few for you but I want to specifically  discuss the promises of wealth. Here is a list of popular promises for your study:

2 Peter 1:4

And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Matthew 11:28-29

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Isaiah 40:29-31

He gives power to the weak
and strength to the powerless.
Even youths will become weak and tired,
and young men will fall in exhaustion.
But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.

Philippians 4:19

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:37-39

No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 10:9

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

The promises of God concerning wealth are listed below. Recently, we noticed that our money was affected. It just seemed like there was not enough money to cover our bills not to mention. having enough to bless someone else. I begin to cut back and cut back until there just was no more to cut back. My Fiance’ work had decreased and my bills had increased. My daughter’s father had ceased paying his child support. So I turned to God’s word to see what was available. Here is what I found.. 

Philippians 4:19

Amplified Bible (AMP)

¹⁹ And my God will liberally supply (^[a]fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Psalm 23

A Psalm of David.

¹ The Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack.

² He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters.

The above scriptures are most importantly comforting regarding lack of money. So I will meditate on the word of GOD as He reminded me that A PROMISE DELAYED IS NOT A PROMISE DENIED. Remember that the below scriptures are promises from GOD and GOD is not a man that He should LIE.. 

GOD through the Holy Spirit is reminding me that HIS word is a promise. Period not a maybe..not an He MIGHT! Since He can not lie..IT IS A GUARANTEE!!!!! He can not LIE..now I know that I can depend on His word coming to pass in my life…

I just wanted to share my experience with you.  It was scary when the bank called about my truck and I checked the account and there just wasn’t enough. The Representative from the bank was very straight forward even scary.  I cried because I knew I had tithed and  I give often to many who have never paid me back.

My fiance’ was feeling secretly depressed because he did not have the money to share.  I felt like my back was against the wall..friends or so I thought they were friends..wouldn’t loan the monies to me.  Glad they didn’t but at the time I was very depressed about it. 

I wondered why GOD allowed me to get to this place. I confessed all of my sin since I knew that he who covers his sin can not prosper..So now that I have done everything I could think of.  I reminded Him of his word and tried to remind myself. I wondered if anyone else might have experienced this or might be going through this at this time.  I was comforted when the Spirit of the Lord spoke. When reminded me of the below promise..Look below..This is His Word …His Promise!

Numbers 23:19

God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel repentance or compunction [for what He has promised].

PROMISES OF GOD REGARDING WEALTH

Luke 12:42 – Who then is the faithful and wise manager, who

the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whom the master finds doing so when he returns.

Deuteronomy 8:17 — You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth.

Ecclesiastes 5:19 – When God gives any man wealth and possessions, and enables him to enjoy them, to accept his lot and be happy in his work, this is a gift of God.

Luke 16:13 – No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
Jesus saw people struggle with this choice.

Proverbs 3:9 – Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.
